Meet the Band

Michael DiFranco -- Vocalist

Michael DiFranco was born into a family of many generations of musicians and to which music is life.

He grew up in Cleveland, studied clarinet in school and and has been playing guitar for over 40 years.
He has also been singing all his life, studying formally as an adult with vocal teachers Pablo Rodruguez,
Karen Mihalovich and Tule Lazule in Sonoma County, California.

Following his desire to perform for live audiences Mike has been entertaining crowds for the last few years
as a street performer in  downtown Santa Rosa, Petaluma, the Sebastopol Plaza, Union Square and the
Marina District in San Francisco where he has been very well received with compliments and generous
compensation offered by the people who stop to enjoy his musical stylings.

Looking to move into live performance venues, Mike teamed up with pianist
Jonathan Marmelzat and bassist Eddie Guthman to form the Mike DiFranco Trio,
an upbeat jazz combo playing the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and other
vocal stylists focusing on the Great American Songbook.
